The government’s official website, Gov.uk, outlines the qualifications for receiving up to five cost of living payments. Those receiving specific benefits or tax credits are entitled to up to three payments amounting to £900. Eligible beneficiaries include:

4. Pension Credit

In autumn 2023, most eligible individuals can anticipate an additional payment of £300; however, the precise date is yet to be announced. Moreover, a further Cost of Living payment is scheduled for spring 2024, as reported by the ECHO news outlet.

Disability Cost of Living Payment

Over six million UK residents recently received a one-time payment of £150 as part of the Disability Cost of Living Payment program. A significant proportion of these £150 payments were automatically distributed over a two-week period spanning from June 20 to July 4. This follows a similar payment made in September of the previous year.

For those who were expecting the Disability Cost of Living Payment but have not yet received it, there is a provision to report the missing payment through the appropriate channels.

Supplementary Assistance for Pensioners

Pensioners eligible for the Winter Fuel Payment scheme will witness an extra injection of £150 or £300 alongside the standard payment, effective November 2023. The exact amount of the Winter Fuel Payment, inclusive of the supplementary funds, depends on birthdate and circumstances during the qualifying dates.
