Social Security Disability Income Beneficiaries Could Receive $914 on August 1st

To be eligible for the extra payment, Social Security Disability Income retirees must have accepted the Supplemental Security Income (SSI). The amount of this additional payment can be up to $914, representing the SSI benefit for August. However, it is crucial to ensure that the Social Security Administration has accepted the SSI application; otherwise, individuals will not receive the extra payment on the specified date.

Requirements for Receiving the Extra Social Security Disability Income Payment

The extra Supplemental Security Income check has two main requirements. The first requirement is being age 65 or older. However, this requirement can be replaced with having a disability, allowing Americans with Social Security Disability Income to apply for this payment.

The second requirement is related to the economic level. To be eligible for this monthly payment, individuals must have a low income level and limited resources.

Once all these requirements are met, beneficiaries can expect to receive the check on August 1st. However, it’s important to note that to receive this benefit, Social Security Disability Income recipients must have activated Direct Deposit. Otherwise, the payment scheduled for August 1st will arrive a few days later.

Additional Social Security Payments in August

On August 3rd, a check will be issued solely for Americans with benefits from prior to 1997. For those with benefits after that year, the payment will be processed in the following days.

For post-1997 retirees, the Social Security Disability Income checks are set to arrive on August 9th, 16th, and 23rd. The payment dates will vary based on the birthday of each beneficiary. Retirees born between the 1st and 10th of the month will receive their payment on the 9th, while those born between the 11th and 20th will receive theirs on the third Wednesday of the month. Finally, beneficiaries with birthdays between the 21st and 31st will receive their payment on August 23rd.
