The May 2023 social grant payment dates have been released, and you can collect your grants from next Wednesday.The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) released the payment schedule for the 2023/24 financial year.

Elderly, child, and disability grant payments are made during the first week of each month. Afterward, Social Relief of Distress (SRD) grant recipients are paid, and all other grants are disbursed. Except for SRD recipients, all other beneficiaries can still collect at South African Post Office branches.

Remember These Dates For The Month Of May

• Older person payment date- 3 May 2023
• Disability grants payment date – 4 May 2023
• Children’s payment date – 5 May 2023

Where can I collect the R350 grant? 

Supermarkets such as Pick n Pay, Boxer, Shoprite, Checkers or USave stores offer the grant payouts.
