By using this payment method, grant recipients could cash out their grants at ATMs of partner banks without having to be bank customers.The applicant only needs to have his or her cell phone number RICAd. As identification, the phone number is used. Transactions cannot be completed without the user’s phone number.
SASSA reported earlier that they were seeking National Treasury approval to allow applicants to use free ATMs at partner banks.However, SASSA later announced that applicants are either required to submit their bank account details or they are placed on the default pay point post office.Due to the above development, if you have not switched to a bank account or post office, you should do so immediately.
