NSFAS Allowance Payment Schedule for 2024

1. Upfront Payments: January 31, 2024

Upfront payments encompassing tuition and accommodation allowances are slated to be disbursed to universities by the end of January, specifically on the 31st.

2. Monthly Payments

Monthly NSFAS allowance payments will follow the conventional practice, with disbursements scheduled at the end of each month.

3. Bi-Weekly Payments: February and March

In a departure from the monthly norm, students can expect bi-weekly NSFAS allowance payments for the months of February and March.

NSFAS Applications 2024

NSFAS initiated the application process for funding for the 2024 academic year on November 21. Prospective applicants have until January 31, 2024, to submit their applications.
