Please contact Post Bank if you have not received your SASSA grant payment for February. SASSSA advised clients who have not received their grants to do so as soon as possible.

Where can I get in touch with Post bank?

If SASSA clients have not yet received their grants, they should call Postbank’s toll-free number (0800 535 455). When you call, make sure you have your ID number handy.

A change was made to the Sassa SRD grant regulations in February 2023

According to SASSA, clients are no longer required to reconfirm their grants every three months? Clients are no longer required to resubmit screening responses in accordance with amended regulations.

Prior to the amended SASSA SRD regulations for covid-19, those who wanted to continue receiving SASSA SRD R350 grants had to reconfirm their applications every three months. SASSA does not require each SRD grant beneficiary to reconfirm their application every three months. 

Those who have been rejected or declined a SASSA grant but still feel they qualify for an appeal are encouraged to appeal. Is it necessary to confirm SRD every month?

It is not necessary to reconfirm your application every three months. Every month, Sassa will review your application to determine if you still qualify.
