NSFAS Mobile App Status
It’s important to note that as of now, NSFAS has not launched its official mobile application. Students are strongly advised not to submit their applications on any of the fake mobile applications circulating online.

To submit a 2024 NSFAS application, students should follow these steps on the official myNSFAS website:
Create a myNSFAS Account
- Set up an account on the official NSFAS website.
Update Personal Information
- Click on the ‘Apply’ tab and update your personal information.

- Provide the necessary supporting documents for your application.

NSFAS Eligibility & Criteria
To qualify for NSFAS, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be a South African citizen.
- Enrolled in an approved course at a public university or TVET college.
- Household income must not exceed R350,000 or R600,000 for disabled students.
