Alaska, along with Hawaii, sets itself apart by having distinct maximum SNAP payments compared to the contiguous 48 states. Alaska’s payment structure is based on three regions:

  • Rural I Region:
    • Household of one: $293
    • Household of four: $979
    • Household of eight: $1,762
    • Additional member: +$220
  • Rural II Region:
    • Household of one: $357
    • Household of four: $1,191
