Immediate action has been taken by the Department of Labour under section 30 of the Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Act of 1993, resulting in the issuance of three prohibition notices.

The prohibition notices issued by the Department of Labour include:

  2. Electrical Safety: Use of electricity is prohibited until a valid electrical certificate of compliance is issued by a registered person.
  3. Health and Hygiene: Entry into the premises is restricted until all health and hygiene issues are addressed, and remedial action is taken to eliminate hazards.
