Alaskans Continue to Receive $3,284 Checks – 2023 Permanent Fund Dividend (PFD).Alaska residents are still enjoying the receipt of their 2023 Permanent Fund Dividend (PFD), even after the March 31 application deadline has come and gone. To qualify for this dividend, applicants must have maintained Alaska residency for the entire calendar year preceding their application date.

“Eligible-Not-Paid” Individuals Receive PFD

While the majority of eligible Alaskans have already received their PFD payments, individuals categorized as “eligible-not-paid” as of September 6 were granted their payments on September 14.

A Slice of State’s Oil and Gas Revenues

This annual $3,284 check represents a portion of Alaska’s oil and gas revenues. Interestingly, $662 of this sum is designated as an energy relief check, which is not subject to taxation. However, the remaining portion is considered taxable income.
